Welcome everyone!
My name is Andrew Hulse and I am a science teacher at Cherokee Trail High School!
I am originally from Lawrence, KS where I graduated from Lawrence High School in 2007. Following high school, I attended Washburn University in Topeka, KS where I completed my undergraduate degree in Biology while also playing baseball for the Ichabods. Feeling my call to teach, I decided to pursue a Master's in Teaching through Pittsburg State University which I completed in 2014.
Educational Experience:
In 2013, I married my wonderful wife, Whitley... She is currently a pediatrician at the Children's Hospital here in Denver. We enjoy traveling both locally and abroad as well as being outdoors - running, hiking, biking - and spending time with family and friends.
Through the fortunate opportunities of my many trips, I have found the best way to learn is to experience - so check out our options and join me on a future trip!
I hope to share my knowledge and passion for science with my students through a variety of dynamic instructional strategies and methods. Beyond teaching science, I will help my students develop both study and life skills as well as motivate them to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Honors and Recognition:
